In ‘Shrink～精神科医ヨワイ～ 16’, we follow a story about facing schizophrenia, a challenging illness. In this chapter, a first-year university student named Kiriya Yuki becomes withdrawn due to interpersonal issues in his seminar and is brought to a clinic by his worried mother, Chiaki. Dr. Jakai gently listens to Yuki’s words and guides him toward recovery. However, episodes of excitement caused by delusions and hallucinations threaten to involve his family and those around him. Dr. Jakai, along with visiting nurse Shiraori Raion, reaches out with as many ‘hands’ as possible to support Yuki and his family.
