『盤上のオリオン 9』is the latest work by Shinobu Shinkawa, known for『April is the Cruelest Month』. It follows the story of a once-gifted shogi prodigy, Nishiki Yūki, who meets a spirited girl, Kashiwamori Tsuki, at a bar. Tsuki’s sharp and free-spirited shogi captivates Yūki, sparking a journey of growth and new challenges. This story blends shogi, youth, and romance, creating an emotional narrative.
