『DEAR BOYS ACT4 21』follows the story of the prestigious Shonan Dai Shimo High School basketball team, striving to be the number one in Kanagawa Prefecture. After losing to their arch-rival, Mizuho High School, in the Kanagawa Prefectural Preliminary Tournament, the team, led by new captain Furihara, sets off toward the national stage with new members. When star PG Yamamoto is injured, the team forms a two-player system with Aoyama and Kashiwagi. In the Kanagawa Prefectural Final, they narrowly lose to Mizuho but defeat Yokohama Gakuen to qualify for the national tournament. At the Okinawa National Tournament, they defeat Kadena Nishi High School and face a tough battle against Meiwakadai Hitachi High School, showcasing the team’s growth and unity in this intense basketball story.
