As the courtesan Hanashu, a court official, and playwright Yamato Kyoden become involved, their conflicting interests lead to unexpected chaos. When the grand festival ‘Otsu’ is announced, Omon takes a life-or-death challenge on this stage to gain her mother’s recognition. This story reveals the origins of a young girl who later becomes a legendary painter, beautifully blending history and art.
