The ninth volume of ‘Brave Ones Fall First’ continues the grand story set in the Meiji era. Shun’an, carrying the sick Shino, heads toward the village where the swordsmiths of the killing stones reside, determined to fulfill his wish of killing his mother. Meanwhile, the Meiji government sends a librarian to the village to increase the production of ‘killing stone bullets’ that can destroy an immortal clan. Amidst this, Ensho’s death ignites the fury of Engetsu, bringing new tension to the story. This Meiji-era romantic tale, where an immortal girl bleeds and burns her life, unveils new developments in the ninth volume, scheduled for release in July 2026.
