内容紹介

『王様ランキング 22』は、世界一立派な王様を目指す冒険が繰り広げられる作品。今回は、ルルー騎士団の一員であるボッジとカゲが、毒森の化け物退治に挑む中で、村の汚染の原因が水銀を司るメスヘル神であることを突き止める。しかし、村人が人質に取られピンチに陥った時、ルルーとの戦いで致命傷を負ったはずのポイーズが登場。寄生生物の力でメスヘル神を無力化し、新たな神・ホゼの名を口ずさむメスヘル神の言葉に、ポイーズと父との絆が深まっていく。しかし、その絆は突然の悲劇によって揺らぎ、新たな脅威が現れる。描き下ろしエピソード「強くなるために」も収録されており、今後の展開に期待が高まる一冊だ。

In ‘King’s Ranking 22’, the adventure of striving to become the world’s most admirable king continues. This time, Bog and Kage from the Lulu Knights face a dangerous creature in a toxic forest and discover that the village’s pollution is caused by the god Mesher, who governs mercury. However, when villagers take hostages, the seemingly mortally wounded Poyze appears. Using the power of a parasitic organism, Poyze neutralizes Mesher, who then whispers the name of a new god, Hoze. The bond between Poyze and his father deepens, but a sudden tragedy shakes it, revealing a new threat. The included original story ‘To Become Stronger’ adds to the anticipation for what’s to come.
